Aaron Ramsey linked with Bayern Munich move

Bayern Munich want to sign Aaron Ramsey.

With the Welshman now set to leave the Emirates after Arsenal took the offer of a new contract to the 27 year old off the table, he is free to start negotiations with foreign clubs in January. And, despite being linked with a host of clubs, both in the Premier League and abroad, it is Bayern Munich who may be emerging as favourites to sign him, with The Independent reporting that they are increasingly confident of landing the midfielder, and that he is likely to sign a long-term deal to play for them from the start of next season..

The German champions are currently struggling, by their high standards in the Bundesliga, and only lie 5th in the table after their 3 – 2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker before the international break.  They are looking to refresh their squad, and have also been linked with the Frankfurt duo of Ante Rebic and Luka Jovic.

Andy is an exiled English football fan living in Cyprus. He loves all sports but football is his abiding passion, and he still has dreams every now and then about scoring the winning goal in a Wembley Cup Final, even though his playing days are long gone. He follows most major leagues, across Europe at least, and has a favoured team in each. When he’s not watching, listening, reading or downloading podcasts about football, he spend his time worrying about his beloved Arsenal.
