Chelsea to keep Abrahams and Zouma

If Chelsea’s impending transfer ban stays in place then the club will keep stars like Tammy Abrahams and Kurt Zouma.

Both have enjoyed successful loan spells this season – Abrahams with Aston Villa, and Zouma with Everton – and, in both cases, the club to whom they have been lent would like to buy them on a permanent basis.

21 year old Abrahams has scored 25 times in 37 appearances for Villa this season and has helped propel them to the Championship play-off final against Derby County next weekend. Zouma meanwhile has been a virtual ever-present at the heart of the Everton places.

However, as The Sunreports, if CAS (The Court of Arbitration for Sport) rejects Chelsea’s appeal against the two window transfer ban imposed by FIFA, then the two players will have to return to Stamford Bridge and fight for their places next season.

Senior management at Chelsea are increasingly reconciled to their fate, and are making contingency plans accordingly.
