Chelsea and United target wants guarantees he will start if he leaves Torino

Torino forward Andrea Belotti, who is a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United, has told would-be suitors that he is not interested in moving to a big club, until he is given guarantees he will be a starter, reports talkSPORT.

The Italian international has been in fine form for Torino since joining from Palermo in August 2015,scoring 49 goals in 99 appearances for the Serie A club, and a number of Europe’s top clubs are eyeing him ahead of this summer’s transfer window, with Manchester United and Chelsea both interested in signing him, along with Bayern Munich.

Now, however, Belotti has made it clear that he is not prepared to leave Turin unless he is guaranteed a starting berth in his new team saying “I’m not interested in going to a big club who play for trophies if it means me not playing or being a substitute” If I move, it’s because I’ll be a starter”.

Belotti, who has 14 international caps for Italy, currently has a release clause in his contract worth €100 million (£87 million). However, it can only be activated by non-Italian clubs.
