Eden Hazard has another French club as preference over PSG

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has downplayed the rumors linking him to the French side PSG and has also stated that if he returns to France then it would be only to his beloved Lille.

In an interview with SFR Sport, the Belgian winger ruled out a move to France despite acknowledging it as “an attractive league”.

“There are some big clubs, and it was an attractive league even when I played in it six years ago,” said the Chelsea main man.

“Big stars want to play in Ligue 1, and that is a good thing, but if I am to return, it will be with Lille – they are my club”.

“I still have a career to carve out, with a number of seasons ahead of me.”

The 26-year-old is one of Chelsea’s best players, and it is highly unlikely that manager Antonio Conte lets him walk without putting up a fight. The player has a contract that ties him to the Blues until 2020, so he would not come for cheap either.

In addition to PSG, who have recently added Neymar and Kylian Mbappé to an already impressive group of weaponry, Real Madrid have also shown interest in adding Hazard to their squad, a testament of the midfielder’s huge ability.

Hazard has been with the West Londoners since 2012, when he came from Lille in a £32 million deal. He has played in 250 matches for Chelsea, scoring 72 times and bagging 56 assists.
