Everton flop set for Turkey move

Everton misfit, midfielder Muhamed Beŝić is set to move to Turkey in the summer, ending his miserable five year stay on Merseyside.

A £4 million capture from Hungarian side Ferencváros in 2014, Beŝić has endured a difficult time at Goodison Park, in part due to a series of injuries, which have blighted his time at the club. Having made 31 appearances in his first season, his second campaign was blighted by hamstring problems, and then he picked up an anterior cruciate ligament injury that ruled him out for 18 months. He has not played for the first team since August 2017.

He joined Middlesbrough on loan in January 2018, and has gone on to revive his career in the Championship, making 41 league appearances for them and scoring three times.

Now it looks like a summer move to Turkey beckons for Beŝić, according to The Sun with both Beşiktaş and Istanbul rivals Fenerbahçe interested in signing him.
