It is a story of grit and determination of a migrant to Sweden and the work he does to become one of the most feared goal getters in football.
Alex Ferguson: My Autobiography
It is the autobiography of legendary Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who was at the helm of the Red Devils for 28 years and won 13 league titles as well as two Champions Leagues in the process. The Scotsman is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time and his expertise in building and re-building teams from scratch would see readers from different spheres of life derive something out of the book.
Addicted – Tony Adams
Tony Adams is one the greatest players in the history of Arsenal and he went on to play over 500 league games for the Gunners over the course of his time at Highbury. However, it was all not rosy for the defender as he struggled to get off his addiction to drugs and alcoholism to become one of the all-time greats of English football. It is one of the best autobiographies written by a football legend.
El Diego – Diego Maradona
There are not many footballers who have reached the heights of superstardom and success on a football pitch than former Argentina captain Diego Maradona. In his autobiography, the legendary Argentine tells his story of rise from poverty to becoming the world champion in 1986 to his eventual fall due to cocaine addiction.

When it comes to football autobiographies it is hard to outdo this one by Tony Cascarino. The former Millwall, Chelsea and Marseille forward gives a glimpse of his life that was full of vices.
