Frustated Rashford considers leaving Old Trafford over bit-part role

Marcus Rashford is considering leaving Old Trafford reports talkSPORT, as he becomes increasingly frustrated with his bit-part role since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez.

The 20-year old forward is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in English football, but has become disillusioned with life at Manchester United subsequent to Sanchez joining the club, with his appearances limited to cameo roles from the bench, such as the eight minutes he played in United’s defeat of Manchester City on the weekend.

Whilst he has made 43 appearances for United in all competitions this season, only 22 of those have featured Rashford in the starting line-up, and now the player is starting to question whether his long-term future lies away from his boyhood club.

The forward was said to be particularly unhappy that he was benched for the derby match, with one United source suggesting that if Jose Mourinho continues as manager, then Rashford might no longer be at the club, as he wants to start every game.
