Inter Milan want contract rebel Anthony Martial

Inter Milan are considering making a bid for Anthony Martial who has refused to sign a new deal with Manchester United.

That is according to The Mirror who report that the Italian club are amongst a host of European clubs monitoring the 22-year old Frenchman’s situation who is out of contract at Old Trafford next summer – although they have the option to extend his contract for another season.

Martial refused to sign the new contract that was offered to him because he was marginalised for large parts of last season and became largely a fringe player. However, this time round he is back in form and favour, having scored five goals in his last five Premier League goals, and has helped displace Romelu Lukakau from the starting line-up.

Martial and his manager Jose Mourinho have had their issues in the past, particularly when Martial joined the club’s pre-season tour of the United States late after the birth of his child, but the Portuguese is now desperate to keep him at Old Trafford.
