Liverpool are said to be lining-up a January loan deal for PSG winger Julian Draxler, as the German international finds himself falling down the pecking order in Paris.
The 24-year old, who has 40 international caps for his country, only joined the Parisian club from Wolfsburg in January, but, with the recruitment of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the summer, he finds himself struggling for game time in Paris.
Now it appears that Jurgen Klopp may be ready to take his compatriot on loan for the rest of the season to boost the Liverpool forward line, with doubts over the future of Daniel Sturridge at the club. For Draxler such a move may be welcome, as he looks to cement his place in the Germany squad ahead of next year’s World Cup.
However, Liverpool may face a fight with other Premier League clubs for Draxler’s signature, as Arsenal, in particular, have been heavily linked with a move for the player in the past.
