New Chelsea boss linked with Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Morata swap

New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made an immediate impact after his arrival At Stamford Bridge.

The ink was barely dry on his contract before the club announced the signing of midfielder Jorginho from his former club Napoii in a £57 million deal.

And now comes news that the Blues want to sign Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus. The Turin club are looking to recoup funds after signing Cristiano Ronaldo for a record fee for a 30 plus player, and are willing to let Higuain leave.

However, according to The Daily Mail, Chelsea would prefer that any deal involves Alvaro Morata, who failed to settle at Stamford Bridge, going the other way, as the London club look to recoup the bulk of the £58 million they paid Real Madrid for the Spaniard a year ago.

Sarri, whose appointment was confirmed on Saturday, has signed a three year deal at Chelsea and has arrived with a familiar face as his number two in the form of club legend Gianfranco Zola.
