Pochettino – Make Changes or I Quit!

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is threatening to quit the club, unless there are radical changes made to the way that it is being run.

Speaking after his side’s superb comeback against Ajax in their Champions League semi-final, the Argentine said that he would be “stupid” to stay unless there is a coherent plan put in place to allow the club to regularly compete for the top honours in both domestic and European competitions.

He was referencing the fact that Spurs have not signed a single player in the last two transfer windows – the last player they bought, Lucas Moura from PSG, turned out to be the hat-trick hero against the Dutch side on Wednesday night.

Now Pochettino, who still has four years left on his contract, has effectively thrown down the gauntlet to Chairman Daniel Levy by saying that unless there is substantial investment in the team this summer, he could be off.
