Thierry Henry set for Monaco sack

Thierry Henry’s brief tenure as Monaco manager looks set to be brought to an end, with the former Arsenal player set to be sacked, after winning just 4 of his first 20 matches in charge of the Ligue 1 side.

Henry was appointed to his first managerial job on October 13, following the dismissal of previous coach Leonardo Jadim after a disastrous start to the season for a side that finished as champions just 2 seasons ago. However, he has singularly failed to turn their fortunes around, and has not managed to win once at home in front to the club’s own supporters.

The club currently are in 19th place in the table, some three points from safety, and with relegation now a real threat, The Mirror reports that the owners of Monaco are ready to pull the trigger on Henry and bring back Jadim, the man who led them to that Championship triumph.
