As reported by the DailyMail, Tottenham winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has joined Burnley on loan for the rest of the season.
The 22-year old joined Spurs in a £9.4 million deal in 2016 from French club Marseille, but has found his first-team opportunities in North London limited, and has played only one minute in the Premier League this season.
Now manager Mauricio Pochettino has sanctioned the loan move so that Nkoudou can get more experience of English top-flight football, whilst, for Burnley, they gain cover for Robbie Brady who is ruled-out with a long-term injury.
The move also has an incidental benefit to Spurs as it will allow them to register a fit-again Erik Lamela in their squad for the Champions League knock-out phases which resume in February. Lamela was initially left-out of the 25-man squad for the Group phases as they had used their quota of overseas players.
Nkoudou will wear the number 7 shirt for his new club.
