Wilfried Zaha set to sign new 5-year contract

Wilfried Zaha is set to sign a new 5-year contract with Crystal Palace which will make him the club’s highest paid player with weekly wages of £130,000 a week.

The 25-year old Ivory Coast international, who has been named Palace’s Player of the Year for the past three seasons, has already got the current campaign underway in some style, with his goal against Fulham in Saturday’s victory over Fulham drawing him level with Chris Armstrong, as the club’s top scorer in the Premier League. Now he is set to be rewarded further for his efforts with the bumper new contract reports The Daily Mail.

During the transfer window, Zaha, who is already under contract at Selhurst Park until June 2022, was repeatedly linked with moves to Premier League rivals Chelsea and Spurs, as well as with clubs such as Borussia Dortmund. However, the Palace academy graduate has continually reiterated his desire to stay with the club, and their supporters will be delighted with the reports about his new deal.
