Crystal Palace are in talks with fellow London club West Ham to sign Senegalese midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate.
The 28-year old midfielder, who has just returned to training at the London Stadium after appearing for his country at the World Cup, has been at West Ham since 2014, and has racked up 129 Premier League appearances for The Hammers in that time, scoring 12 goals in the process.
However, he does not appear to feature in new manager Manuel Pellegrini’s future plans and, according to Sky Sports, the club are willing to sell him for £10 million, in a bid to release funds to sign further additions to their squad, having already spent nearly £95 million on new players this summer.
Now it looks like Kouyate could be on the verge of making the relatively short journey south of the river to Selhurst Park, as Crystal Palace continue to be linked with another West Ham player, winger Michael Antonio, who is also surplus to requirements in East London.
